TRC Volunteer
Service Description
Volunteering at the Triad Reiki Conference is an opportunity for personal growth and connection through service, embodying the Buddhist value of selfless giving, known as "dāna." According to Buddhist teachings, giving is not just an outward act but a practice that nurtures inner generosity and mindfulness, transforming both the giver and the receiver. As a volunteer, you would help foster a community of healing, unity, and shared wisdom, supporting an event that brings people together to deepen their understanding of Reiki and holistic well-being. Volunteers play a vital role in bringing our mission to life by creating a seamless, welcoming experience for all attendees. Your efforts help create a nurturing space for learning and connection, whether by assisting vendors with setup, greeting and guiding guests, facilitating smooth transitions between speakers, or ensuring that the flow of the day aligns with our goals. Each of these roles contributes to a larger purpose: providing a supportive environment that allows people to connect, learn, and grow within the Reiki community. Duties for our volunteers include helping at the TRC information table, assisting with parking and unloading for vendors, checking in to ensure vendors’ needs are met throughout the day, managing the lecture room transitions, and guiding attendees. Volunteering with us is a way to deepen your connection to the values of compassion, patience, and mindful service—qualities that help you grow alongside the community you’re helping to build.
